UPSL Announces Expansion in Minnesota with Ebusua FC

Coon Rapids, MN Based Club Joins Midwest West Division

November 15, 2021 - Los Angeles, CA - The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce that Ebusua FC (EFC) has joined the league. Based in Coon Rapids, MN the club will compete in the UPSL’s Midwest - West Premier Division.
 
Founded in January 2019, Ebusua FC has participated in Minnesota Recreational Soccer Leagues as well as Local Cup competitions. The club's mission is to continue to nurturing the local talent and provide them with quality, accessible and equitable pathway to professional football.
 
The club has a strong leadership team led by Cyrus Wilson who serves as CEO and President. Eric Weah is Vice President & GM and the their Head Coach is Patrick Serebour.
 
Club CEO/President Cyrus Wilson said of them joining the UPSL “As our mission states, our goal is to discover, nurture and develop talents and provide them with the platform to showcase what their all about in hope to go pro. We believe joining the UPSL is a big step towards our goal.” 
 
UPSL Commissioner Yan Skwara said of the announcement: “We proudly welcome Cyrus, Eric, Coach Serebour and the entire EFC organization to our league. They are a quality club with a clear vision. We wish them the best in the upcoming season”. 
 
Their schedule will be released in weeks prior to the start of the Spring season.
